Understanding Stakeholders
The importance of identifying and engaging stakeholders in Scrum. Focus on expectation management, regular communication, and overcoming challenges to ensure collaboration.
Product Backlog Definition
Setting product goals, breaking down large tasks into smaller elements, and formatting Product Backlog Items (PBIs). How PBIs are prioritized, formulated, and equipped with attributes such as estimates and acceptance criteria.
Product Backlog Refinement
Regularly reviewing the backlog to make items clearer and more actionable. Splitting PBIs into smaller, manageable pieces (slicing) and prioritization (ordering) for optimal use in the next sprint planning.
Creating Transparency
The importance of clear communication about backlog and work results. Stakeholder feedback contributes to continuous improvement, while transparency ensures that team and stakeholders remain aligned regarding progress and upcoming tasks.

Scrum.org PSPBM Credential
All participants receive a password for the Scrum.org PSPBM assessment. The industry-recognized certifications require a minimum score of 85% to pass. Participants who attempt the exam within 14 days of receiving the password and do not pass will receive a second attempt free of charge.

Basic Preparation
- Read the Scrum Guide completely.
- Take the Scrum Open Assessment at least once. (Free)
- More information about the class and the assessment on Scrum.org.
Technology Preparation
- We use Zoom and Miro Whiteboard. Zoom client app recommended.
- Use a working microphone and headset. Test it before joining.
- A working video is required — be prepared to present exercises.
- Zoom in web browser (Chrome recommended) or as client app (www.zoom.us).
